Here lies a major junction the course leads us to. Everything changes from here We all face it. Gautama gave up his kingdom to find the origin of suffering and how to deal with it. Desire he saw as a key player and the futile process of getting rid of desire ultimately led him to find the middle path because the desire to be free of desire, to avoid the associated pain, is simply another desire.

To be in the world but not of it is the critical message.

You probably want lots of things from this world and the people in it.  Can you name a few them?  Then the question is – can you let all those go?
