Let me not forget my function.
Let me not try to substitute mine for God’s.
Let me forgive and be happy.

This is the world it is my function to save.

There may be others but this is one of those lessons that feel like being hit over the head with a blunt hammer.  There’s no way around or out of this one and the only way to be happy is to get on with it.

It can appear a tough call to think of yourself as a saviour of the world.  But it’s not about having the weight of the world on your back.  It’s more about taking weight of the world off your back.

It’s simply the choice for happiness.  And life for me has been a lot about learning what real happiness is. One clue I’ve found helpful is that’s it’s easy to attain.  If you’re struggling to get happy you likely need to revisit your thoughts about it.  I know that’s what I needed to do.

This is also one of the first lessons that starts to pin down the idea that we created the world.  Not God.  So it can only be us that can do something about it.
