Comment:

Somewhere in the course material, maybe in the Manual for Teachers, it mentions that most people will not need a radical life change.  Some do.  I wonder if my departure from a medical career to a self created career was part of this journey for me or whether it was just me not listening and appreciating what was already there.  It’s a question I’m not sure if I will ever answer.

But for this lesson about wanting no other function and having no other than the one God/Goddess/All That Is gave us I don’t believe it has as much to do with WHAT we do during our day but rather it’s about HOW we do it.

I saw a Facebook post by a friend the other day wondering if she should leave her family to go on God’s work.  I responded that I didn’t think she needed to leave anything to do God’s work.  In the Indian tradition the “householder” is a recognised spiritual path.  It honours that we have responsibilities to things we have created here, like family.  Fully being there for family and doing the things we need to do to be able to do that as well as we can, can actually be the most liberating process on earth.
