LESSON 68.  Love holds no grievances.

I would see you as my friend, that I may remember you
are part of me and come to know myself.

Love holds no grievances. When I let all my grievances
go I will know I am perfectly safe.

Love holds no grievances. Let me not betray my Self.

Love holds no grievances. I would wake to my Self by
laying all my grievances aside and wakening in Him.

Comment:

I see how we define ourselves (and God) and how we move forward in life, elegantly juxtaposed in this lesson.  Making it easier for us to choose.

It’s easy to experience when we are holding grievances and the path becomes clear.  Hold on to them and stay stuck in hell or let go of them and delight in heaven.

The slate needs wiping clean of all grievances.  Not just the big grievances but especially all the little ones as well.  The big ones may be easier to spot and take more ‘work’ but the little ones can keep you subtly ensnared forever.

Part of the journey is accepting our feelings, our grievances,  are not ‘their’ fault but our ‘work’ to do.  That’s worth being grateful for because it means there is a way out where before there might have seemed none, apart from dying.
